FAQs

Why do I need a dental check-up?

Our team at Dentalkrafts examines if you have any dental problems and helps you with procedures to improve your oral health. Leaving problems untreated could make them more difficult to treat in the future, so it's best to deal with problems early, or, if possible, prevent them together.

What is the best way to get my teeth whiter?

We at Dentalkrafts provide the best procedures as per the patient's needs to get your teeth whiter and achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. Along with teeth whitening, you also will have your teeth and gums cleaned so that plaque and tartar are removed and any cavities are filled.

How often should I go to my dentist for a check-up?

It’s a general recommendation that both children and adults should visit a dentist every six months for a cleaning and oral exam. Those with good oral care need to go to the dentist twice a year but those with more problems will need check-ups more often.

I feel anxious going to the dentist, what should I do?

Fear of the dentist is quite common for many people and this fear is not only prevalent in children but also adults. At Dentalkrafts we are aware of the prevalence of dental anxiety and dentistry treatments are comfortable, stress-free, and incredibly effective helping you in helping overcome those fears. Our team is eager to work with you to make your visit pleasant and comfortable. What happens during a dental check-up?

For each check-up our team at Dentalkrafts:

  • Examine your teeth, mouth, and gums
  • Ask about your general health and any problems you've had with your teeth, mouth, or gums since you last visited the dentist
  • Ask about, and give you advice on, how you can improve your oral health
  • Give you a timeline for your next visit

How can I take care of my teeth between dental checkups?

  • Remember to brush your teeth at least two times a day, and floss at least once!
  • To prevent cavities make sure to use toothpaste that contains fluoride, and ask your dentist if you need a fluoride rinse.
  • Keep your tongue clean! By brushing your tongue, you will remove food particles and reduce the amount of plaque-causing bacteria and overall improve your oral health.
  • Avoid foods with a lot of sugar because it increases the number of bacteria that grows in your mouth causing more plaque and possibly cavities and avoid tobacco and smoking as it can stain your teeth, cause gum disease, and eventually lead to oral cancer.
